An Update

A fun question. I've been on this site for 13 years as of the few next months. I've seen its ups and downs and it guided me to meet amazing people, many long gone, and some others I've been blessed to still be in contact with. Many great experiences, memories, and learning have made its way onto my present thanks to this site. I may not abandon it per nostalgia's sake; not right now at least. I am interested in the modern changes they are doing to make it more of a professional choice for artists for portfolios and all that jazz, although I think they started doing that a bit too late by this point. But besides that, well, I still shall come around every now and then like I've been doing so far. But, if any of the few followers left around are interested in seeing more artwork and staying in direct contact with me, I'd appreciate more any of the other choices above!

Canon Fodder Journal
But this dark era is about to end, my friends.
Finally freaking finally I'll be able to focus on doing what I actually want to do!
I do appreciate doing commissions, it's helped me grow alot and certainly I'll keep doing some!
But one thing I've learned is that, if you never take a step forward to do what you love, you'll get stuck in this "someday" mindset.
Emotionally I've been quite good thankfully. I've recovered my peace which is something I'm really thankful for.
This is another thing I've learned: Always strive to step out of negative states of mind. Bad times will always exist. While you can't force you to feel better, you can make your actions directed towards soothing your soul, and focusing your mind and body. Inner peace is on your hands, not in the world's hands. This is from someone who has certain mental health issues.
So I really have nothing, I just wanted to have a newer placeholder journal.
Is it deep enough? I'd like so, but I really don't care. It's a good canon fodder journal. Good job, journal.

Disaster
Last earthquake was oscillatory and it was the strongest I've ever felt, but even then, we were all joking and making memes out of it! until yesterday where I truly faced fear and adrenaline. Sadly, we've been hit by a terrible 7.1 *trepidatory* earthquake different from the past one. This one has brought mass destruction, injuries, and death across central Mexico; it's epicenter was right in the state where I live in.
Thanks to the Creator; I am fine along with my friends and family. Sadly I'm not organized enough to ask for help for my community; but I do want you all to be updated on what's going on in this side of the world.
Stuff around is quite delicate here. Even crime went up because bad people see an advantage in these situations and that's just depressing; and overall, we must keep an eye out if there's a third strike. (The Volcano popocatepetl is doing red exhalations here and there caused by the tremors aswell.)
I'll keep working. Life moves on and so we must.

Requests
So I'm doing a request for my close friend Andy, and that gave me the idea to have this challenge-activity to keep myself constantly working and posting here on dA besides my usual comissions. So I'll be open to requests from today up to this sunday. Since these are basically requests, I won't schedule a deadline but they won't be late since my objective is to keep myself away from procrastination once and for all.
